We are delighted that the Barrie Wells Trust has been announced as a 2017 Red Rose Awards finalist! The Red Rose Awards celebrate business, commerce and industry in Lancashire and we have been shortlisted in the ‘Not-for-profit Business Award’ category.

The other finalists in the category are:

  • Blackburn with Darwen Healthy Living
  • Blackpool Carers Centre
  • DanceSyndrome
  • Federation of Small Businesses
  • In Di Go Dedicated Care & Support

Yesterday we visited Ewood Park, the home of Blackburn Rovers, to present Box4Kids in more detail to the judges and answer their questions.

Barrie Wells said, “We are honoured to be one of the finalists for this prestigious award which each year recognises top businesses in the county. All who have been shortlisted in this category do incredible work in the not-for-profit sector but we hope the judges think Box4Kids stands out for its great nationwide impact.”

The Awards will be presented at an event at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool in March. For more information about the Red Rose Awards, and the full list of finalists, please visit their website: http://www.redroseawards.co.uk/.
